Alpine Loop....

WINNER/LOOSER ???

Today I took AnaLea's crib apart and turned it into a toddler bed.  Making this afternoon nap, our first experience with the "big girl bed."  So after an hour of  "battle of the WILLS," I am trying to decide if I won this one or lost to a two year old.  She did fall asleep....

Only when Mommy is desperate for peace and quiet...

I won this battle!
Got my "Diddy" my "Passy"
and my two hour supply of gold fish and mom's pepsie!
~Perfect Bliss~
I just might take a nap...even if I downed 32 oz of pepsie~

This girl is ready to go...

Chic glasses...check!
Kewl new purse...check!
Sippy....check!

P-DIDDY....

This is the only "almost" two year old who "requires"
two "diddy's" (blankets) and a "passy".
Funny, put the two together and you got P-DIDDY.
Chris absolutely hates that one!

I think I will put her in a rock climbing class!
Uncle Joe, Ryan, and Mitch would be proud!

Dumb luck...

I love this picture of AnaLea. It has her perfect mischievous smile as she is caught in the act of doing something she isn't supposed to be doing. It also caught her in a lil phase she is going through. She loves to be almost naked...EXCEPT FOR HER FAVORITE PAIR OF SHOES!!!

DUMB LUCK

AnaLea and I love making cookies together. She gets very excited and insist on sitting on top of the counter so she can help put everything into the mixing bowl. After I put her up onto the counter I saw her reach into the cabinet with all my spices. I didn't think anything of it...because she always likes to play in there and there has never been any harm done. So I quickly turn my back to get the rest of the ingredients out of the fridge. I turned back toward my lil girl and found her, with an empty bottle of vanilla. The first thing I looked for was any signs of it in her mouth. Nothing. AnaLea then say "Did it." and points toward the mixing bowl. That is where I found the missing vanilla. My first thoughts were "great, now we have to start all over!" I examined the bowl closer, to see what I could save. I noticed that there wasn't very much vanilla in the bowl. So I chanced it! And what do ya know, the cookies turned out perfect! I don't know if she remembered which bottle was the vanilla, she's not quiet two, or randomly grabbed it. However, the exact amount in the bottle was the perfect amount for our recipe. What LUCK!

AnaLea, I am taking you to Vegas!!!

Military Ball...

Here are some pictures from the military ball. I didn't get very many pictures and missed most of my friends. Sorry guys! I guess that's what I get for having too much fun!

Robinson fun day at the park...

This is my mom's baby sister....humm...not quiet so little any more!
We never are together long enough to have a good family picture, and at the same time have Ana cooperate! But this seem to work!

Aunty Michelle brought ice cream. It was a hit!
Notice my new purse! I love it!

This is my almost twinner of a cuz.
She ended up coming 3 weeks behind me.
She thought the ice cream was a hit too!

I LOVE bananas, I LOVE slides
(mom translates "slide" to "swing")
Having both at the same time is priceless!

A day at the zoo...

We went to the Zoo with Grandma Caldwell...
I got to ride alot of the not so real animals....

But the best part of the whole zoo experience was the merry-go-round!
I got to practice my pageant wave for the crowd. One strange lady from the crowd told my mom that seeing me on my Wolf giving the pageant wave was worth the whole zoo experience!
Taking a break...it was a hot day. My mom remember back when water actually came out of the trunk....now it just makes noises!

I got to touch the turtle!
The worst part about the zoo was the snakes! I didn't like them at all!

Minisota..

We traveled north to Red Wing....
its the place where they make the Red Wing shoes and some pottery that my mom obsesses over.
We stopped a couple of times along the Mississippi to get some good photo opps.

This place literally reminds me of Monterrey, Cali. The water, the boats, the fog, and the rain. Can you believe I actually miss it!!!
My lil girl and I!

Iowa...

AnaLea got to meet her Great Grandma for the first time!
Above: Looking at pictures with Grandma Meyer.
The first thing we did when we got to Waukon,
was visiting my Grandpa's grave.
AnaLea never met him,
but she knows who he is by pictures and stories.
